Jack Topanian didn't set out to run a company. He set out to solve a problem he kept seeing up close — Las Vegas businesses getting burned by IT providers who overpromised, underdelivered, and disappeared when things went wrong.
He spent the early part of his career inside enterprise environments, engineering network infrastructure for some of the largest properties on the Strip and building security frameworks for organizations that couldn't afford to get it wrong. Hospitality. Healthcare. Gaming. Finance. He worked across them all, learning what “mission-critical” actually meant when the system going down cost a business thousands of dollars a minute.
In 2012, Jack founded Open Net Technologies in Las Vegas with a straightforward premise: hire great engineers, treat clients like partners, and never stop earning the relationship. No offshore support. No revolving door of technicians who don't know your network. Just a tight, local team with deep expertise and genuine accountability.
Over the past decade-plus, that model has proven itself. Open Net Technologies has grown from a one-man operation into a full-service managed IT provider serving 200+ businesses across Southern Nevada — and Jack's fingerprints are still on everything from the hiring decisions to the client onboarding process.
